Kranji War Memorial Cemetery
Even on Saturdays, the place is very quiet. I was however surprised when I saw a group of approx. 30 men with crew cuts disembarking a bus to visit the cemetery. British soldiers. They stopped in front of some of the tombstones reading familiar names and commenting on the different forces and units represented.

Plantain squirrel at Sungei Buloh
At low tide, this squirrel has found an appetizing seed at the foot of a mangrove tree.
