A miniature of the summit station of the Gornergrat train

Actually, this is just a trick to the eyes. By keeping a very narrow depth of field (forefront and background blurred), one can provide a landscape with this "miniature" feel. I thought it would turn an otherwise banal image into something more interesting!

The Gornergrat Chapel

A simple design, almost austere yet warm due to the use of wood for the benches and the ceiling boards.

The Matterhorn from the Gornergrat

The Matterhorn viewed from the Gornergrat. Every time I see this mountain, I think about chocolate. A Pavlov's dogs type of conditioning... Merci Toblerone! This image was post processed with a texture.

Mountainscape - Swiss Alps

The first person I showed this image to told me that it was a sad photograph perfect to accompany a death notice... I did not see it this way... The back light brings up the top of the pine trees and emphasizes the thin clouds pushed up the valley by a morning breeze... The bell tower of the local church breaks the tree line to improve the composition... Well, what is your opinion?
