Hotel du Glacier - Saas-Fee

First established in 1901, the Hotel du Glacier is the second hotel build in Saas-Fee and remains an icon in the village.

These geese just came back from a swim in a half frozen pond. They were in turn flapping their wings to dry their feathers.

Actually, this is just a trick to the eyes. By keeping a very narrow depth of field (forefront and background blurred), one can provide a landscape with this "miniature" feel. I thought it would turn an otherwise banal image into something more interesting!
