Kranji War Memorial Cemetery

Leaving home in the early morning, I was concerned as the sky was totally free of clouds. Luckily, they met me at the site adding some interest to the image.

Even on Saturdays, the place is very quiet. I was however surprised when I saw a group of approx. 30 men with crew cuts disembarking a bus to visit the cemetery. British soldiers. They stopped in front of some of the tombstones reading familiar names and commenting on the different forces and units represented.

Calm and breezy.  It took quite a while to fine the entrance of this site.
